In 2007, Leber and Chesworth received the Helen Macpherson Smith Commission at Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Melbourne, Australia.

NAWIC Awards
Leber won the Outstanding Achievement in Design award in 2002 for the Leber/Chesworth public art project The Master's Voice.

APRA/AMC Classical Music Awards
In 2006, Chesworth won the Instrumental Work of the Year for Panopticon, from the David Chesworth Ensemble CD, Music To See Through.

ARIA Awards
The David Chesworth Ensemble CD Exotica Suite was short listed for the 1994 Best Classical CD.

International Prix Ars Electronica
Chesworth's Southgate soundscape received an Honorary Mention.

International Paris Rostrum
Chesworth's opera Lacuna was selected to represent Australia in 1994.

Oberhausen International Film Festival
Leber's film Doubtful Invitation was awarded a place in competition at the international festival.

Churchill Fellowship
In 1997 Chesworth was awarded a travel fellowship to the US, France and UK to investigate new audio technologies.

ATOM Awards
Chesworth's video opera Insatiable won most innovative film. Leber's video Earwitness: Tuning Environmental Design was an ATOM awards finalist.

Green Room Awards
Awarded to Chesworth for his music for Life After George.

Awarded to the Chesworth/Horton opera The Two Executioners produced by Chamber Made Opera.
