International Paris Rostrum
Chesworth's opera Lacuna was selected to represent Australia in the 1994 International Rostrum of contemporary music

Classical Music Awards
In 2006, Chesworth received the Instrumental Work of the Year award for Panopticon, from the David Chesworth Ensemble CD, Music To See Through. Presented by APRA and the Australian Music Centre


NAWIC Awards (National Association for Women in Construction)
Leber received the 2000 NAWIC Award for Achievement in Design for her work on 5000 Calls. She was awarded the 2002 NAWIC Award for Outstanding Achievement in Design for The Master's Voice.

Oberhausen International Film Festival
Leber's film Doubtful Invitation was awarded a place in competition at the international festival.

Churchill Fellowship
In 1997 Chesworth was awarded a travel fellowship to the US, France and UK to investigate new audio technologies.

ATOM Awards (Australian Teachers of Media)
Leber's video Earwitness: Tuning Environmental Design was an ATOM awards finalist. Chesworth's TV opera Insatiable won most innovative film.

ARIA Awards (Aust Record Industry Assoc)
The David Chesworth Ensemble CD Exotica Suite was nominated for the 1994 Best Classical CD ARIA Award.

Green Room Awards
Chesworth's music for Life After George received a 2000 Green Room award.
